Hello COMAP Community!
COMAP’s library of math modeling resources has supported classrooms for decades, and now it’s time for a refresh. We’re inviting educators to help us reimagine these classics through the new Refresh for Relevance Challenge. If you’ve ever wished a resource better reflected today’s students, integrated new tech, or aligned with modern teaching goals, this is your chance to shape the next chapter.
Why should you participate? Here are a few reasons:
- A free COMAP membership
- All complete submissions will be entered in drawings for gift cards
- Authors of outstanding work can earn stipends ranging up from $250 through grants to attend a math education conference
- Get featured in a COMAP blog post
- Publish your work!
- Be considered for grants to continue revising more resources
- Make a real impact by shaping the future of math education
Learn how to get involved at comap.org/R4R.
Also this month, we’ve added new blogs on:
We're also sharing the presentation and related resources from the NCTM Virtual Conference earlier this month.
Thanks for reading!
